Ripe lime and pear on the nose with wonderfully expressive linden, acacia and citrus notes. Good concentration and fleshiness. Focussed Chardonnay from 50 year old vines with a lingering mineral finish along with salinity to balance the discreet oak. The wine shares many characteristics with more revered Chablis 1er Cru at an easier price.
